The Modern Workplace's core component is Microsoft's Office 365 and is the typical starting point for cloud services.

Office 365 consists of industry-leading Exchange email services, the Office productivity suite, OneDrive for Business file storage and Skype for Business videoconferencing.

Your data is secure and accessible with a 99.9% uptime guarantee and geo-redundant storage.

Mail

  • Each user is provided with a 50 GB mailbox
  • All email, contacts and calendar items are available on all devices

Microsoft Azure is a catch-all phrase for Microsoft's cloud computing resources that consist of data storage and processing power. Server virtualzation and file storage are powerful components of Azure.

  • Your existing servers can be virtualized and moved into the cloud
  • Cloud servers integrate tightly into your existing network and use the same user authentication and permissions with Active Directory
  • Perfect for shared directories while each user gets a private 'home' directory with OneDrive for Business

  • New servers and storage space can be commissioned and decommissioned in a matter of minutes as workloads increase and decrease to minimize costs
  • Data from individual files to entire servers can be restored in seconds from backup
